Flea Product Alert
On Wednesday, March 17, 2010 EPA
announced intentions for stricter testing and evaluation requirements for
flea and tick treatments that are applied to pet's skin. The news
articles question the safety of topically applied flea products.
Rest assured all the products we
endorse are SAFE!!! We use them on our own pets and have prescribed
thousands of doses without incidence.
We do however, know of products which
can be dangerous, especially if labeled directions are not followed.
Please feel free to call or email us
to discuss any concerns.
Spring Into Health!
As the doctors and staff of Thompson
Animal Hospital approach the spring season, we will be celebrating
your Pets' Wellness. Just like it is important for you to have
physical exams the same is true for your pet. Wellness appointments
are important to help us detect problems while they are treatable and
manageable.
One way to help ensure your pets' best
health is Wellness Health Screenings. Wellness Health Screenings allow
our doctors a "look inside" your pets' vital organs and may allow us to
detect conditions we cannot see yet. The Wellness Health Screening
involves blood and urine tests to check internal organ function such as
liver, kidney, thyroid, heart and some communicable diseases. Taking a
look inside can allow us to keep your furry friend healthier longer.
As we "Spring into Health" we
are offering a Wellness Package for dogs and cats at a discounted price.
We are offering Complete Blood Count, Comprehensive Chemistry, Thyroid
Testing and Urinalysis while you wait for only $109.00, a 30% savings.
Offer good 3/1/10-4/30/10. Call for an appointment today.
