| What's the
difference between Quality Pet Care and Low Cost Pet Care?
1.
The Patient – Doctor Relationship. When your pet has an
exam at Thompson Animal Hospital it is by your pet’s doctor. Your pet
will get a thorough examination to check the major systems in your
pet, and that will stay in his record for reference every time he/she
comes in.
2.
Our Vaccines. We use the highest quality vaccines, we
adjust our vaccination protocol to every pet, and we use 3-year
vaccines to minimize vaccine site reaction whenever it’s beneficial to
your pet. Higher quality vaccines mean less chance of side effects to
your pet.
3.
Our Surgeries. Whether your pet is here for an elective
surgery or a life saving surgery, your pet will benefit from our
hospitals excellent surgical staff and procedures. Special care
is taken to make sure your pet receives a safe anesthetic,
proper monitoring and blood screening. We also
provide pain medication to your pet before the surgery as a
preventative medication and after surgery to go home with.
Unfortunately, not all pet hospitals do this routinely. Our
promise to you is tat we will treat your pet as our own and only
perform anesthesia in a manner that we would be comfortable with
performing on our own pets.
